Why we built WAM ERP
India has 6.3 crore MSMEs. ~1.6 crore are in manufacturing. They make the parts that keep our auto industry, pharma exports, and food supply running.
But almost every MSME we visited ran on the same broken stack: Tally for accounts, Excel for stock, WhatsApp for production status, and a part-time CA for everything else.
The "modern" alternatives — Zoho, Marg, ERPNext — either cost too much, lack manufacturing depth, or require a 6-month consulting project. None spoke Marathi. None accepted UPI AutoPay. None gave a damn about whether your son in Aurangabad could open it on his phone.
So we built one. WAM ERP launched in 2026 with a single promise: an Indian manufacturer should be able to sign up on Monday morning and run their factory on it by Friday.
